A/Visions 2

At the heart of the two A/Visions programmes are large-scale audiovisual creations that merge images, sound and technology. Following on from the previous evening, the second evening of the A/Visions series features the North American premiere of three sensational performances. Deeply innovative, these audiovisual works plunge the spectators into stimulating universes in which technology plays a fundamental role.

Spillover examines the divisions that separate us from our natural surroundings and the interplay between nature, culture, politics and economics. Next, the generative performance Advienne puts into perspective different temporalities within a spatialized audiovisual device, encompassing the audience. Finally, inspired by virtual ecological systems, SYNSPECIES explore unnatural and dreamlike fields inhabited by fractured, multidimensional objects that cross-pollinate, merge, mutate and fight for their existence.
